McMaster Farncombe Institute Symposium
I was hired by McMaster Farncombe Institute to lead and organize communications for their first ever Gairdner-Farncombe Institute Symposium.
After finalizing my communication internship at the McMaster University Farncombe Institute, I was hired to be in charge of all the marketing and communications for their first ever symposium.
The Job consisted in several areas of expertise:
WEB DESIGN: design and maintenance of the symposium's website
BRANDING/MARKETING: all the visual aspects of the event landed on me. In this particular area, I had full autonomy to decide on all the marketing and graphic collaterals necessary for the event. Examples of the designs are signage for venue, posters of event, speaker's posters, event booklet, name badges, table signage, to name a few.
ORGANIZATION: I acted as organization support in all aspects of the symposium on the day of event. Examples, directing catering, sound support, crowd flow management, social media management, etc.
COMMUNICATIONS: my job consisted in creating and delivering all internal and external communications. Speaker direct communication. Event newsletter and digital distribution.
